5 Steps of Incense Manufacturing
Step 1: Raw Material Powder Preparation
Blending wood powder (sawdust/sandalwood), dried flower petals, and natural binder powder (Jigatta gum powder) in precise ratios.
Step 2: Dough Kneading (Premixing)
Adding water to create a smooth, kneaded paste (dough) free of air bubbles.
Step 3: Rolling / Extrusion onto Bamboo Sticks
Coating raw bamboo sticks (8 or 9 inches) either by hand rolling (Masala agarbatti) or automatic extrusion machines.
Step 4: Natural Sun Drying
Drying raw sticks in shaded drying racks for 24-48 hours until moisture content drops below 5%.
Step 5: Dipping & Perfuming
Dipping dry raw sticks into natural essential oil blends (1:4 ratio with diethyl phthalate-free solvents) and airtight packaging.
