Required Puja Samagri List (पूजन सामग्री)

Essential Items: • Idol or picture of Lord Hanuman & Shri Rama
• Red/Orange Aasana (woollen sitting mat)
• Cow Ghee or Mustard Oil for lamp (diya)
• Pure Gangajal or clean water in Kalash
Offerings & Bhog: • Orange Sindoor & Chameli (Jasmine) Oil
• Red flowers, Marigold garland, Tulsi leaves
• Boondi, Besan Laddoo, or Jaggery-Gram (Gur-Chana)

Step-by-Step Hanuman Puja Procedure

Pavitrikaran & Aachaman

Sit on your mat facing East or North. Sprinkle clean water over yourself and the puja area while reciting: "Om Apavitrah Pavitro Va...". Sip a drop of water thrice from your right palm.

Deep Prajvalan & Sankalpa

Light the Ghee/Mustard oil lamp and incense. Take water, rice, and a flower in your right hand, stating your name, place (e.g. Paraspur), and intention (Sankalpa) for the puja.

Sindoor & Chameli Oil Arpan (सिंदूर अर्पण)

Mix orange Sindoor with Chameli oil and gently apply to Hanuman Ji's feet and forehead. Offer red flowers, Akshata, and Tulsi leaves.

Reciting Hanuman Chalisa & Sundarkand

With steady devotion, recite the Shri Hanuman Chalisa 1, 7, 11, or 100 times.

Offering Bhog & Performing Aarti

Offer fresh Boondi or Laddoos along with Tulsi leaves. Perform Hanuman Ji Ki Aarti, seek forgiveness (Ksama Yachana), and distribute Prasad.
